FETAL ALCOHOL SPECTRUM DISORDER

CFUW Aurora-Newmarket created a package of materials concerning Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder.  Their concerns are twofold – to get warning labels on bottle of alcohol and to support the creation of a provincial strategy in Ontario.  Approximately 130,000 Ontarians are affected, and the cost can range between $1 – 2 million for their support over a lifetime.
